what do you actually think of amelie?

one of my favorite movies and soundtracks ever. i love it. so so much. i dunno, when i watch movies i try not to analyze them too deeply at first watch because i know i’ll probably be bummed out about something or another in terms of representation of women. like i love midnight in paris, even though if i step away from it it has a shit load of problems.

i think amelie is a badass romantic and i love her. a lot.
