if you like feminist theory and want to be a pretentious buttface like me
read:
- Luce Irigaray’s This Sex which is not one
- Sexual Subversions by Luce Irigaray
- Luce Irigaray’s Philosophy in the Feminine. This includes french philosophy, subjectivity and the language, rationality in the language, identity and violence, and feminism and utopia. Super kewl.
I love these books but i only like to read them after I have a lot of blood taken from me because they’re too great to understand when I’m not loopy from blood loss tbh. I throw them a lot at the wall because i can’t wrap my head around Irigaray sometimes but when you do finally grasp her meanings your mind is blown and it is worth all the suffering, I swear.
Is it obvious i am procrastinating?? Oops
